A Wedding

This last weekend we went to Snowflake Temple for Daren's sister getting married. It was a great experience (as most temple wedding usually are...) It always reminds me of the promises I made at my own wedding and I think I come out a better and more devoted wife. For how long is debatable... We were also able to do sealings for some of Daren's close ancestors which was a really neat opportunity. Man I love the temple! Because of all the good times going on with family I actually never took a picture of the happy couple which probably wasn't the best choice on my part but that's why you get photographers! We got some good family pictures though and some of Talmage (as you can tell I'm a little wrapped up in my own family instead of focusing on the union of others... sorry Shanna!)
We had a great time and it was so good to be with family. Plus it was so nice to get out of our 98 degree weather and jump into some 76 degree sunshine! People had mowed grass, flowers and trees. Its like another world up there. The morning of the wedding I left Talmage with Daren and went for a walk. The outside world was calling my name. I had my own "Lake of Shining Waters, White Way Delight and Dryad Pool" to find (for you Anne Shirley lovers... with an "E"). It was in a word... splendid. If I could do that every morning I think I might be a much more patient person. I think...

  1. Cindy, you have the CUTEST little boy! I can just see his adorable, lovable, fun personality in his pictures. I hope I get to meet him someday before he grows up and gets married and you die! Haha, so probably the sooner the better.
